But for now, here's how the 2 day move went down:
Friday night @ the condo, PACKED.
Truck arrives around 5:15. Takes us pretty much 3 hours to load it (correctly). We take off to RI, get there for around 10:30 pm and fall asleep hard.
8 am Saturday morning; at the new house unloading the truck! We had 14 people helping us. I stood on the front stairs and looked at each box (or object) as people walked by and said "Green bedroom", "Downstairs office", etc so everything got put away in the correct spot (for the most part). It worked out VERY well and went pretty smoothly.Moving tip: Have every thing labeled with what's in it and what room it goes to. The what room it goes to makes it MUCH easier for move-in day and the what's in it tells you which boxes you should be unpacking first.

Batman was tied up to a cooler and was pretty confused as to what was going on
My mom supplied coffee and breakfast for all the helpers
With everyone's help (and yes, I did carry some stuff in!) we unloaded the 26' truck in 45 minutes!
We had 2 AC's installed on Saturday also; one for the bedroom, one for the main level.
Lots of boxes in the dining room...
Then Raymour & Flanigan arrived! We were excited to sit on a piece of the couch.
Here they are bringing in the rest, along with the bedroom set.
By the end of the day, Batman (and everyone else) was too tired to even move!

Moving sucks but its so fun that you had help. I moved in mid July in TX heat 2 summers ago and Im helping Chad move in 2 weeks...sooo hot!
That's so funny! I am working on a post now with all of my moving pictures, so it was nice to see someone out there with same move-induced exhaustion! Have fun unpacking :)

Moving is such a big job, but it looks like you got through it without snags. Have fun setting up your new home.
How exciting! I'm sure its exhausting, but it will be so fun to get everything put in its place so you can enjoy your new home!

Congrats on moving!!!! And I just love Batman in some of those pics....haha! Adorable. :) Seeing that food your mom made for your friends made me hungry. Maybe I'm just ready for lunch.. haha..
I'm glad you got everything in! I think that was the most stressful part for me but I missed out on it, so I wasn't sure where everything ended up.

When we moved, I had everything unpacked in about 2 days, but I'm still slowly organizing it 2 weeks later.

Yah! I like the tip on whats in the box as I was in a search for utensils when I first moved in. Can't wait to see it all finished up!

14 people to help is soooo helpful/amazing!! Lucky you and I love moms and how tey always know to feed everyone!

Moving is so exhaisting regardless of how organized you are. But I agree it makes it SOO much easier if you have everything labeled.

Holy cow, moving is the worst and it looks like you guys have tons of stuff. In the last three years I have moved houses thrice, apartments/dorms 3 times, and offices once.
Woohoo! You guys made some major progress! 45 minutes to unload a truck is awesome.
