Friday I had to work from home since Jay had to take care of a few important things during lunch and couldn't come home to take Mr. BMan out. I let him play outside most of the day; he was in his glory! Added bonus: Work got let out @ 2 so I was logged off and ready to kick back by 3...sweet!
Friday night, Jay DJed and me and Batman watched our usual chick flick TV shows in bed. He was great company as usual:
Saturday morning (bright and early) I headed to New York! On the way I saw this license plate "JAY" (and later informed Jay that in case he ever thought of getting this, it's taken lol)
and the exit to Fairfield U! Oh college...
Once I got there, I met up with Bec & Ad to see SATC2! I'll preface this with saying that I had read all the reviews and knew going into it that it was a) more about friendship than guys b) not enough in NYC and c) more lighthearted/less conflict. Knowing all that, I thought it was GREAT, I'd give it a solid A. My only gripes are: it could have been shorter, I would have preferred to see more of the guys (Big, Steve, Harry, Smith), and some parts were just down right absurd...For example why does Charlotte need a full time live-in nanny? She doesn't even work. Regardless of those small annoyances, I really did enjoy it and would encourage anyone on the fence to go see it!
On the way home that evening, I was STOPPED in traffic...couldn't figure out why. Well, come to see, there's a TREE taking up a whole lane! Absurd!

Saturday night, Jay and I went out to

Up In The Air with George Clooney on demand. Excellent movie; HIGHLY recommended!

Sunday we did a lot of cleaning and organizing in the downstairs storage room and then did some shopping and lunching in the afternoon.
We went to
Wood n Tap where I love this steak salad they have.
Sunday night while Jay DJed I went out to
Harbor Park (a bar on the water) with a few girls from work. I don't have any pictures; this is from Debbie's cell phone while we were on the shuttle but it was a gorgeous night out and there was a live band.
Monday we slept in (til almost 11!) since we were both so tired. Today we worked in the storage room for another hour then did some errands and grocery shopping. Now we're home making some soup for lunches for the week and relaxing!
As a result of our shopping on Sunday (along with the sequin tank and jean capris above) I got
these sandals (NOT for that price!) and these 2 tops.
Also, my order from ArtsCow came in! They were having a special 9.99$ for 3
customized cosmetic bags! Here's the fronts and backs:
There are bigger than I imagined they'd be and good quality!

Jonathan aka "The Weatherman"! I think he is SO annoying. You're going to spend your ONLY 1 on 1 time bashing one of the other guys saying "I hate gossip but..." and "he's dangerous..." and "You shouldn't allow bad people into your circle". I mean I get it, I don't like Craig M either but come on weather man, who are you to rain on Craig's parade.
