Girl my best friend just had a baby and she swears by the miracle blanket that I gave her
i use the graco sound machine (for myself!) and i adore it! that is a must have!
Those seem to be really good ideas. Have you looked into cloth diapering? It's getting pretty popular. My sister loves feeling the baby move with a little stuffed animal that plays music. They're going to put it in the crib to help their little girl sleep once she's here. (Blog award on my page. check it out.)

Umm, your list, for whatever reason, just plunged me into full-blown baby fever. Omgosh. And I'm not even engaged. But I will be 27 this year, so I'm sure that explains a lot. :)

My nephew LOVED that when he was a baby, and it still soothes him now (he is almost 3).
