Weekend Recap!

Well Friday started off nice with a few deliveries from our friends at FedEx!

One package is AWESOME but half of it is a birthday present for a friend so I won’t even say where it’s from but the other package was…

My new iPhone! I spent a lot of the weekend learning and playing around with it. A few gripes (some of which may be lack of knowledge right now) but mostly loving it! Then Saturday, FedEx visited again this time with my new pink Otterbox! Now THIS I LOVE

Saturday, I had to go out and pick up some paint for the nursery, as well as go to Verizon to get a car charger so I hit up Kohl’s and picked up some seasonal décor for the transition to spring. Maybe if I hang spring towels it will stop snowing? So far, no luck!

Batman Sundays

Also, I ordered Batman a new collar this weekend! The first one we had gotten for him (a year and a half ago) was from Collar Mania and since that one worked out pretty well, I decided to order his new one from there as well.

Here's his original one; plain black with bright yellow embroidery. It's still in pretty good shape but is just getting a little tight!
His new one will be made from a fabric that was actually in their clearance corner, it's called light aqua blue bandana print and will be embroidered in black. Can't wait to see what it looks like!

Week 28

How far along: 28 weeks (Size – Eggplant) (My mom just told me this past week that my aunt went into labor with my twin cousins at 28 weeks (23 years ago) yikes! Let's hope he stays in there for a WHILE longer!)

Maternity Clothes: Absolutely!

Sleep: Falling asleep seems to be easier than STAYING asleep

Movement: Tons of it! He is a KICKER! Sometimes I feel like he's even doing somersaults in there...

Food Craving: Leftover shower cookies haha!

Gender: One Little Boy, Carter

What I'm looking forward to: Putting the nursery together! Hopefully starting this week :)

Weekly Wisdom: Take one day at a time! & You can't do everything you used to do (without feeling exhausted or sore later on!)

Weekend Recap!

Well what a BUSY fun weekend it was!

Friday afternoon started off with flowers being delivered to the house while I was working. “Happy 3rd trimester” Flowers; SO fun!

Friday night, I went with my parents to see a play called “Becky Shaw” at the 2nd Story Theater. It was pretty cute; here are some of the stills:

Saturday morning we went shopping for maternity clothes! I was trying to find something for my upcoming showers but did not really luck out! We started at Motherhood Maternity and I ended up with only one shirt (from the 20 or so I tried on!)

Saturday night was lowkey; dinner with Dad; then watched a movie at my parent’s house. We watched Unstoppable – HIGHLY recommended; like on the edge of your seat the whole time!

(Oh and did I mention Chris Pine is in it?!?)

Sunday my stepmom and Dad threw me a small baby shower at their house! Everything was set up SO cute and it was really nice and intimate with mostly family.
