Happy Friday, all! And Yay for a long weekend! This weekend, I'm still in recovery mode so I'll be taking it easy... The only thing on my agenda is spending time with the little man:
Share your weekend plans; would love to hear them!
Happy Friday, all! And Yay for a long weekend!

Friday afternoon, I met up with my Mom for manis and pedis; it was a beautiful day!
Friday night, we went on a date for Japanese food at a place we like called Ichigo Ichie! It was a fun night; the place has fab décor.
Saturday morning we snuggled as a family; probably our last quiet Saturday morning for a while!
Later in the morning we headed up to the Wrentham Outlets! Jay had been wanting to go for a while and I figured it’d be good for me to walk around & maybe get this baby moving!
We did some serious damage for the little guy…
My favorite purchase:
And Jay’s favorite:
Oh and Mommy made out pretty well herself too, at a newly discovered costume jewelry store called Charming Charlie’s.
Batman spent the day with his Noanie and the little daredevil fell in the POOL! Way too cold for that, buddy…
Saturday night, we went out to dinner with my Dad & stepmom and then Sunday just hung around in the house in the rainy weather!
Hope you all had fabulous weekends ![]()
This week, just a little hodge podge of recent Batman iPhone pics :)

Maternity Clothes: Even those are getting limited! Luckily with the nicer weather, my flowy summer dresses are coming in handy!
Sleep: Naps are my friend!
Movement: Slowing down for sure but I still feel him in there!
Food Craving: Steak salads; weird right?
Gender: Boy! Carter Robert
What I'm looking forward to: Meeting him this week! The doc said that if he does not come on his own, they will be inducing me on or around my due date (Thursday!) Crazy!
Weekly Wisdom: Be patient; he'll come when he is ready!
Happy Friday, all!
If I have any say in it, we'll see this:
Then tomorrow we're heading to the Outlets. I can't move as fast or for as long as I'd like but I figure it'd be a good way to get this baby moving!
Friday night, I met up with some ladies for dinner @ the Cheesecake Factory and to see Something Borrowed! And I LOVED it!
I had read the book a long time ago so was a little fuzzy on the details; but I think this let me enjoy it even more vs. comparing the movie to the book the entire time. Highly recommended!
Saturday morning, Batman and I hung out at my Mom’s house – it was a beautiful morning!
Saturday night, we went out to dinner for my Mom’s birthday!
Sunday of course, was Mother’s Day! I got 3 Mom-to-be Mother’s Day cards (and one Mom-to-doggy card from Batman); which TOTALLY blew me away because I didn’t even know such a card existed! Very lucky girl right here…
After doing some errands around the house and grocery shopping, we spent the rest of the morning & early afternoon at my Mom’s. We had a cookout and relaxed by the pool.
For Mother’s Day/her birthday, my Mom told me all she wanted was “a baby”; hmmm well since I couldn’t really control the timing of that, I thought well how about some things to help for when the baby does get here! My Mom will be watching him 2-2.5 days a week and has her whole nursery all set up already, but hadn’t yet thought about leaving the house with the baby… So I decided to equip her with a stocked diaper bag!
I got her the Vera Bradley Baby Bag, since I’ve heard rave reviews about it! I got it in a gender-neutral color so that it can work for many grandchildren, along with a matching case to go inside.
I stocked it with onesies, diaper cream, hand lotion, q-tips, a toy, burp cloths, pacifiers and this custom bib made from Café Press:
“I Love Noanie”
Here she is opening it:
In the afternoon, we visited my grandmother and then had a cookout at my Dad’s house. The perfect end to the day? Hitting up The Daily Scoop where they offered free ice creams for Mom’s AND Moms-to-be!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
