1st Birthday Recap: The Set-Up!

Jack’s 1st Birthday Party was the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend at our house! I have TONS of pictures (well, obviously); today you get the set-up & details… Stay tuned for more!

First, my biggest “project”: The Dessert Table!

I made everything on the table; craft-wise. I’m talking yarn balls (not as fun as they look!), birthday banner, framed print, cupcake “labels”. I started a few months before his birthday and did a little bit each night so that I wasn’t overwhelmed at the end. I’m so happy with how it all came together!

I have to thank my aunt again for the fruit sticks! (Pinterest-inspired of course!)

For favor bags, I ordered bags and the fun items inside (sunglasses, bubbles, bath toys) for the guests less than 2 years old. I printed personalized labels to match the bag color in Excel.

Oh and, we had this game “Who does Jack look like?” where you could put a sticker on a picture of me when I was 1, a picture of Jay when he was 1 or on a picture of Jack; meaning you can’t decide/he doesn’t look like either of us! Everyone had fun with it!
