Recently I was contacted by Misikko asking if I’d like to review a flat iron. Well, that’s a tough one – yes please!
I don’t talk about my hair too much, but I have long, thick (THICK) hair. I repeated thick so you’d really get the picture. I’m talking the thought of a “sock bun” or extensions have never crossed my mind and whenever someone new does my hair, I get a “wow, you have a lot of hair…” Alright, you get the picture. Needless to say, I live and die by my flat iron. But, hey, I’m always willing to try something new!
It is a Corioliss Flat Iron which I was excited about since I had never used the brand before.
So last Saturday night, being an exciting pregnant mother, I found myself home alone and decided it was the perfect time to test it out.
Before I got started, I figured I’d show you the bun I was sporting earlier in the day and then the thick waviness that are my natural locks.
Now, once in a while I’ll use straightening serum. ONCE in a while. I figured though, if I wanted to really test this baby out, I’d use no products. So I set to work with my hairbrush and the Corioliss Flat Iron; that’s all. Now, I can’t say that it worked much faster than my normal iron (but it didn’t take any longer either). But I WILL tell you though that my hair was looking pretty damn fantastic once I finished up!
Consider me a convert, folks. I love this new flat iron!

Looks like it works great and it also looks like you have the same amount of hair as I do. How long did it take you to do that? I am so impatient when it comes to flat irons.
